Tara Therapy is launching our new Restorative Nursing Program! We are looking to hire Certified Nursing Assistants experienced as Restorative Nursing Assistants to provide restorative therapy for residents in long-term care facilities in Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RESTORATIVE NURSING ASSISTANT

As a Restorative Nursing Assistant at a long-term care facility, you arrive each day happy to work for a practice that gives you the time and support to get real results for your patients. You love the collaborative spirit at Tara Therapy where you will work hand in hand with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology. You will have ample opportunities to learn and develop into a better clinician. You will carry out individual restorative care with residents to improve activities of daily living by providing individual restorative treatment and leading patient focused groups. You will bring specialized knowledge of developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents to plan and deliver the best individualized care for each of your patients whether challenged with orthopedic issues, neurological diseases, or complex medical conditions.

 

You provide patients with restorative treatment and take the time to really understand their restorative needs and goals to improve their level of function. Your attention to detail is essential to your success, as you keep up-to-date and accurate records. And, your collaborative skills come into play as you play an active role on each patient's interdisciplinary team. Using your good communication skills, you also take the time to relay information to the restorative nurse and therapy team. After a day of hard work, you feel great about the measurable progress you have observed in your patients!  

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTORATIVE NURSE

  • Current State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Previous Restorative Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care setting
  • Must have CPR certification
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and transfer and transport residents.Are you committed to safety and conscientious about following OSHA and other established procedures?
